CONTACT TRACING stalked the early pace, advanced to engage PRONTI O MENO mid-way around the far turn, vied past the furlong marker then shook free and finished going away. PRONTI O MENO took over the lead late on the first turn and led the way up the backstretch, took on the challenge from CONTACT TRACING mid-way around the far turn, fought back past the furlong marker then had to settle for second best. CLOUDY PAST vied around the first turn then stalked up the backstretch, flattened around the far turn, launched a two wide rebid in upper stretch and cleared show. ACTION SEEKER tracked the early pace, saved ground around the turn then flattened out. FORCED RANKING raced off the pace, hustled along three wide into the lane and lacked a needed rally. BATTLE CRUISER was off slow and veered out at the start, raced off the early pace, coaxed around the far turn, swung five wide into the lane and was no late threat. MIDNIGHT RULES was unhurried, saved ground around the turn and had no response. ON A DARE failed to move into contention.
