Chart notes
SLUGGERNAUT settled inside mid-pack, wasn't far off the leaders on the far turn when encouraged along late on that bend, angled six wide into upper stretch, surged past inside the final sixteenth. SPRUNG LOOSE was a bit rank entering the first turn in behind the leader, settled down to track that one then moved up to briefly force the issue inside about the nine-sixteenths, backed off and switched out at the half then moved up to press again early on the far turn, contended in earnest later on that bend drawing even at the quarter and under urging, alternated while dueling in the lane, drifted out a path or so in mid-stretch, led near the sixteenth pole but was no match for the winner. SPUN AROUND was quick to take the lead, set the pace in the clear from off the rail, was briefly challenged by an inside foe early up the backstretch then by the same rival now outside heading into the far turn, dueled through that bend, was asked at the quarter pole when headed, fought on gamely in the stretch but yielded late. HOLIDAY SNOOZE settled at the rear inside, advanced on the far turn shifting out nearing the quarter pole then back in, kept on along the inside through the stretch but needed more. PEACE POSEY exchanged a light bump at the start, was in tight soon after, settled outside a foe off the pace, made a swift advance between foes passing the seven-sixteenths, was in striking distance and put to urging by the five-sixteenths, floated seven wide into upper stretch and failed to rally. MOHAYMEN DIAMOND settled outside at the rear, was forced four wide on the far turn, failed to menace. PAGEANT QUEEN exchanged minor contact at the start, moved forward in pursuit outside three wide, steadily retreated. Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved.
