Chart notes

CAUGHT OFF GUARD moved up early and stalked the pace then took over at the 3/8 pole and battled through the long drive with ROWAN AUGUST and prevailed at the wire. ROWAN AUGUST was void of early speed before being urged along nearing the 1/2 pole then made a five wide rally in the stretch before lugging in late and just missed at the wire. NORTH ARM BAY raced close up between horses and battled through the turn before making a stretch bid and ran on late. MR FABRICATOR got away alertly and set a slow pace then was headed on the second turn and gave way late. STABILITY chased early then steadied near the 7/8 pole before racing with a four wide trip along the backstretch then angled seven wide into the stretch but made no rally late. MARTINI MAN rated in the second flight early while under a tight hold then dropped back into the second turn and was no factor late. THE RIDER OF ROWAN AUGUST CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF CAUGHT OF GUARD ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS REVIEW NO CHANGE WAS MADE.
