Chart notes
DANG IT DAN bumped the inside foe at the start, stalked from off the inside two to three wide into and on the turn, was asked past the quarter pole, drew nearly even to the leader and inched past late under steady urging. W W NOLAN was bumped at the start then moved inside to take the lead setting the pace in the clear, was asked in upper stretch when challenged, fought on late but was outfinished. INSTANT CLASSIC settled off the pace, advanced three to four wide on the turn, was best of the rest. MIDNIGHT MASTER was encouraged at the break but lacking speed, shifted in heading into the turn saving ground early on that bend, moved off the rail at the five-sixteenths, fanned five wide into upper stretch, ran on. BLAKELY'S BOY lacked early speed racing far back into the turn, was never near enough to threaten. QUIET DEPUTY broke a step slowly and was coaxed forward chasing the leader in behind near the inside, dropped back at the five-sixteenths. BEAR RILLA stalked mid-pack, saved ground on the turn, dropped back and faded.
