Chart notes
HOPE TOWN GIRL hustled away from the gate to take the lead, settled in hand to command through the bend, responded when called upon and dug-in late to just hold. NOSOX stalked the leaders from the fence to midway on the turn, narrowed the gap on the bend, cut the corner turning for home, tipped out to challenge the winner and just missed while gaining late. ARTISTE reserved off the pace racing near the rear of the pack and rallied with a steady late bid to be along for the show. GOTTA BE MADISON pressed the pace down the backstretch, continued the pressure on the turn while under an early drive and weakened coming home. IGNIS COR was not a threat. MO JAVA tracked the leaders into the turn, failed to respond when called upon and faded from contention.
