Chart notes

CALL ME MICKY J. broke very sharp, dictated the terms on a solo pace pace around the bend, unchallenged turning for home, held sway under strong handling. CALVIN'S RUN broke slow, rushed up chased the pace into the turn, angled off the rail approaching the furlong marker, churned on upper stretch while unable to switch to the proper lead, swapped over to late, chased the leader to the wire second best. JACK CARSON extremally difficult to load, broke a step slow at the bell, chased the leaders inside around the bend, no match for the top pair, stayed on willingly to secure the show. HUNDLEY hesitated at the start, pressed hard chased five wide into the turn, running on the wrong lead, had no punch through the stretch. CONEJO DORADO lacked speed out of the chute, roused on off the pace three wide from the quarter pole, came up empty late. PEDRO'S FANCY MAN broke alertly, pressed the pace three wide into the turn, gave way upper.
