Chart notes
MAN O ROSE grabbed the early lead and led in the two path around the clubhouse turn, overtaken by MR. DISRESPECTFUL dueling on the backstretch, regained the advantage early on the far turn, drifted out into the lane, cleared MR. DISRESPECTFUL with a furlong remaining and held safely over SPEEDY WILSON late. SPEEDY WILSON settled inside, chased two wide into the far turn, came three wide into the stretch, rallied into second past the eighth pole but could not summon the needed late kick to reach the winner. MR. DISRESPECTFUL stalked in the three path, went up to take control from MAN O ROSE and dueled up the backstretch, lost command early on the far turn, got floated out approaching the stretch, fought to midstretch, then flattened in the late stages but was able to hold third. NONE ABOVE THE LAW tracked in the two path around the first turn, entered the far turn in the three path, came five wide into the stretch and failed to rally. CALI CAT took a stalking position on the inside, dropped back around the far turn and tired in the furlong grounds.
