Chart notes
STRADALE stalked the early pace between horses then waited behind the trio of pacesetters into the turn and lacked room briefly between horses nearing the 3/8 pole then angled five wide into the stretch to take over at the 1/8 pole before drifting out late but held sway for the victory. DR. KAPUR settled off the early pace while tucking in for a rail trip through the turn then angled four wide at the 1/4 pole and split horses to rally late for place. CAPTIVATOR stumbled at the start then regained footing and rated in the second flight early then made a steady advance while four wide on the turn and made a bid between horses into the stretch then was all out late but was caught in the final yards for place. MAILATA got away alertly and pressed the pace then battled into the stretch before giving way in the final sixteenth. MY BOY STAR stumbled at the start then was hustled up and pressed the pace along the inside, contending through the turn before fading in the stretch. LANGVAD raced close up early and chased the leaders while racing along the inside then waited into the turn before altering to the outside of runners to make a move while six wide at the 1/4 pole and made a mild bid in the stretch. N. Y. FINEST was allowed to settle early and saved ground into the turn then was asked between horses into the stretch but made no rally late. TALLMAR hustled up between horses and battled for the lead into the turn then showed speed for a half mile before tiring in the stretch. AMBERJACK got bumped at the start then settled in the middle of the pack while racing with a five wide trip but made no rally late.
