Chart notes
THE PUMA settled early while racing four wide onto the backstretch then stayed in the clear into the second turn making a very quick move while circling the field six wide to take over into the stretch then opened up mid-stretch and had enough left to hold off the late challenge of FURTHER ADO. FURTHER ADO rated in the second flight early between horses then waited behind the leaders into the second turn before splitting horses on the turn then altering four wide into the stretch and rallying late for place. SASSMASTER chased the early pace while three wide and contended through the turn amongst a group upfront then made a bid between horses nearing the 3/8 pole and was all out in the stretch, running on for show in a game effort. OUR MONEYMAN rated in the second flight early while racing along the inside under a tight hold then looked to move into the second turn but was boxed in between horses before getting clear into the stretch and was gaining late. IGNITER exchanged bumps at the start with TALK TO ME JIMMY then was in tight and steadied shortly after the break before settling off the pace then angled seven wide near the 1/4 pole a made a mild gain late. TALK TO ME JIMMY exchanged bumps at the start with IGNITER then moved up and assumed command into the first turn, leading the field on the run along the backstretch before contending to the 1/4 pole and giving way in the stretch. IRON HONOR was void of early speed then altered out to make a six wide move nearing the 3/8 pole and a brief bid before faltering in the stretch. FREEDOM'S ECHO stumbled at the start then moved up to contend while three wide early before drifting to the five path while urged along into the second turn but ducked in into the stretch and made no rally late. MICANOPY was allowed to settle early and tucked in to save ground then was ridden along nearing the 1/2 pole but had no response when asked. PONDER AND DREAM got away alertly and crossed over then stalked the early pace and contended into the second turn before tiring in the stretch.
