Chart notes
CHAIRMAN BOB got away well then was taken hold settling in to track in behind the leaders along the inside saving ground, found room in upper stretch, bid up the rail near the furlong grounds, drew clear and held sway. CLASSIC DANCER broke outwardly lightly brushing a rival, moved soon to the lead, set the pace from just off the rail, was pressured past the half, came out a bit leaving the far turn, was overtaken in mid-stretch, proved no match for the winner but saved second. COMPTON settled outside at the rear racing three to four wide, swung six wide into upper stretch, kicked on well late to get up for third while narrowly missing the place. GRAFFITI WRITER stalked from outside mid-pack mostly two to three wide, came into upper stretch five deep, ran on but was outkicked for show honors. CIRCLE BACK JACK bobbled and was in tight at the start, raced at the back two to three wide between foes, failed to rally. ADAPTED switched outside the leader leaving the first turn, pulled a bit then was allowed to go and moved forward to press nearing the half, was still in contention into upper stretch then weakened. SNOOKERED settled at the rear inside, trailed into the far turn, swung seven wide into upper stretch, drifted out a bit, failed to menace.
