Chart notes
HAPPYISASHAPPYDOES set the pace on a clear early lead, continued on under a good hold, was well rationed throughout, kicked away in mid-stretch and drew off in the final sixteenth convincingly. BRILLIANT JOURNEY prompted the pace to the quarter pole in striking distance, responded when called upon for the drive, failed to match the winner in the lane and battled to hold the place. ADIOS BUCCANEER stalked the pace down the backstretch, closed the gap on the bend, and vied with the runner-up through the lane missing the place. EXTRASEXYBIGDADDEE was rated in mid-pack for three-quarters and finished with some interest lacking a significant closing kick. TIGRE was one-paced failing to menace. SILVER FRONT trailed throughout never posing a threat.
