Chart notes
CERTAIN reserved off the pace into the turn, rallied midway around the bend circling six wide and finished determinedly to be up in the final strides. OUTHUSTLE stalked the pace from three wide to the head of the stretch, rallied to the lead leaving the eighth pole and was caught in deep stretch in a good effort. TOP RECRUIT pressed the pace to the turn, edged up to take command turning for home and was outfinished late having to settle for the show. PASCHAL MOON tracked the leaders saving ground along the inside to be well placed and lacked a closing kick. CITY TRIPPER failed to menace. SHAKIN IT UP LARRY was clear on the lead early, responded when engaged at the quarter pole battling through the lane and weakened in the final furlong.
