Chart notes
PHREDDIE MAC always within striking distance, rallied three wide on the far turn to make the lead nearing the top of the stretch then drew off under right handed urging while drifting out to win going away. K KID allowed to settle four wide, swung wide entering the stretch and rallied for second in the middle of the racetrack. DADDY JUSTIFY was tight between rivals entering the first turn, stalked the pace three wide, rallied two wide on the far turn to gain a narrow lead briefly at the quarter pole then was outfinished. CONTROLLER had the lead into the first turn, pressed the pace along the inside past the half mile marker dropped back on the far turn then finished best of rest. WETZEL raced outside and had no impact. TROUBLE IN MOTOWN failed to respond. QUARANTINO broke in front then gave up the lead while three wide into the first turn, made the at the six furlong marker, set the pace two wide until late on the far turn then was used up. KNOCK WOOD was no factor. SWEEPING GIANT was outrun. SWAYBACK MOBIL was through early.
