Chart notes
PLAYING HARDBALL took command soon after the start, showed the way up the backstretch in the two path, shook off a pair of foes midway on the turn, not threatened through the lane while under steady handling. CASTILLE broke forwardly, relinquished the advantage to the winner soon after, chased that one up the backstretch and through the turn in the three path could not keep pace with the winner through the stretch, edged clear for the second spot. BANDERA BLING within striking distance outside, moved a bit closer along with the runner up while outside that one early in the turn then also could not keep up with the victor, fell back off the runner up to finish up best of the rest. SAINT PETER'S BAY broke back, trailed most of the way while racing off the inside, picked off a single tiring foe through the lane in making little impact. ORDER UP last away, moved up inside while being asked, fell back a bit early in the turn, angled out four wide late in the bend, tired in the run to the wire.
