Chart notes
COUSIN ED reserved off the early pace to be near the rear of the field, rallied on the turn circling the field turning for home and closed fast seven wide to be up in the final stride. HIGHTAIL FOX stalked the pace saving ground along the fence, angled out four wide splitting rivals turning for home, surged late to take a short lead yards from the wire and was nailed on the line in a game effort. GOLDEN CANDY pressed the pace through the turn, rallied in upper stretch to vie for the lead late and was outkicked in the final fifty yards to just miss. FAST FIXER set a pressured pace through the turn, opened a clear lead when called upon in the upper stretch, dug-in drifting out while tiring late to carry the top three runners out and was outfinished late. THE SINNER IS YOU unhurried to be the trailer, angled in to the rail saving ground on the turn, cut the corner coming home and rallied up the clear rail needing a bit more. EXPRESSO BAY tracked the pace from three wide to midway on the turn, failed to respond when called upon and faded from contention.
