Chart notes
HE'S MY BOY chased, rallied two wide into the stretch gaining a narrow advantage nearing the three sixteenths pole, veered in when struck with a right handed crop bumping DREAM POLICE before the furlong marker then drew clear late under left handed urging. SGT YORK unhurried early, rallied through the stretch in the five path and finished second best. DREAM POLICE sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, set the pace along the inside past the quarter pole, was bumped by the winner nearing the furlong marker causing his rider to check then faded. WEEKEND RETREAT failed to menace. HIDDEN HEART well placed, failed to respond. INDY'S HOPE was outrun. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND THE RIDER OF DREAM POLICE LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF HE'S MY BOY FOR INTERFERENCE IN UPPER STRETCH. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS DISUQALIFIED HE'S MY BOY AND PLACED HIM THIRD.
