Chart notes
KETTLE COALMINE close up along the inside, was boxed in along the rail through the turn, waited, got through and quickly made the lead entering the stretch then won going away under right handed urging. RIVER BYE slow early, circled his field through the stretch and got up for second. STRIKE PLATE set a pressured pace along the inside, drifted out a bit entering the stretch then was outfinished. TRUTH N SOUL pressed the early pace two wide and faded in the lane. VECCHI vied for the lead three wide and was through after a half. PROFESSOR NICK had speed through the turn then wilted. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN BUT TOOK NO ACTION.
