Chart notes
CHAPPELLE dueled on the inside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path and dug in gamely in the stretch, battling to the wire while bumping lightly with REBELLUTION in the final furlong and just holding the win. REBELLUTION dueled on the outside through the opening quarter, continued to battle from the three path around the bend and into the lane and dug in gamely to the finish, bumping with CHAPPELLE through the final furlong and just missing. HAPPY TEARS tracked the leaders between horses early, navigated the turn from the four path and chased on to the wire. MESOPOTAMIA raced off the pace up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and passed tiring horses in the lane. GOLD RULES stalked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path and faded in the stretch. STEEL RAIL BLUES stumbled leaving the gate, trailed the field through the opening stages, came around the turn in the three and four path and never threatened. LITTLE BOSS MAN chased the leader on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and tired in the lane. STOGIE JOE raced in the middle of the pack up the backstretch, dropped back coming around the bend, entered the stretch in the four path and continued to tire in the stretch.
