ADIR was bumped the outside foe at the break, recovered to seize control inside with his head cocked fighting the rider, veered outwards sharply for a stride or two before being corralled back in up top midway down the backside, battled stubbornly on the rail head to head on the front end around the bend, continued to have a slim advantage in the two path with a couple rivals bearing down in upper stretch and gamely found more inside in the last furlong to pull away determinedly for basically the front running score. TELEPORT (IRE) was pushed out by the eventual winner causing a slight chain reaction with other outside foes when vying alongside the leader midway down the backstretch, continued to prompt the issue outside throughout the turn, dueled between horses posing the main threat in upper stretch but needed more late in the late running getting outkicked by the stubborn winner inside in deep stretch. AMORE MIO broke inwards on the start, had a good spot tucked in behind the pacesetter down the back straight, travelled just off the rail in the second flight with an outside foes tracking the contesting pair around the turn, shifted out off the lead pair in the hunt outside in the four path turning for home, was no match for the top two by the final furlong but did fight on to the end saving the show award from a late closing inside foe at the wire. BRIGHT ANGEL (IRE) was part of the back trio on the inside having to be checked in the vicinity of the five eighths pole, continued to have a ground saving run along the oval sitting poised behind runners, shaved the corner at the head of the hand making a mild rally and finished up with good late energy inside almost closing in at the wire for the third place share. PIPERS REIGN shared the rear between runners, had to alter course briefly midway down the backstretch shifting outwards, narrowed the margin two wide with runners on both sides at the threeeighths pole, angled to the four path straightening out for home but could not factor in the drive to the wire. EXTRAORDINARY ONE (GB) was a joint last on the outside of two others in the early stages being forced out wider by inside rivals around the five eighths pole, made a brief spurt trying to circle three wide around foes at the midpoint of the turn, swung out widest unable to carry the momentum at the top of the lane and failed to menace between rivals in the late drive. PERFECTWORKS pressed the pace three deep down the backside, had to veer out when inside runners came over with five furlongs from home, took back off the front twosome still keeping a close eye on the pair having inside company through the bend, shifted to the five path for the stretch drive but faltered outside of horses at the furlong marker. MULTIPLE RIDERS CLAIM OF FOUL AND STEWARDS INQUIRY AGAINST #1 ADIR DOWN THE BACKSTRETCH RESULTED IN #1 ADIR BEING DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED LAST FOR INTERFERENCE
