Chart notes
INDIO MARA broke outward into MENDELJOHN, sat just off the pace, gained the lead into the stretch and edged clear. CONCRETE COWBOY was under a strong hold entering the backstretch, was roused three wide in the last turn, and held on for place. ALL RUN trailed the field early, advanced quickly in the final turn and rallied late for show. DEAL EM sat midpack and was rundown for show. LINCHPIN STORM rallied late. MUDINATOR was three wide in the first turn, and lodged a mild bid late. STONE CARVER set the early pace, was overtaken at the head of the stretch and stopped. MENDELJOHN (IRE) bumped leaving the gate, and failed to threaten. PISCO was four wide in the opening turn, chased three wide and tired.
