Chart notes
LITTLE COCOA BEAN sprinted clear in the opening quarter, widened to mid-stretch, shortened stride and just lasted. ALLENHURST saved ground, awaited room on the turn, slipped through into the stretch and rallied too late. ECLAIR BLANC raced off the pace between rivals and continued willingly. SHETALKSTOMUCH trailed far behind, moved extremely wide into the stretch rallying. DEWEY DOIT saved ground just off the pace then flattened out in the stretch. CYNTHIA GAIL raced in closest pursuit of the pacesetter and proved empty in the stretch. MAGICAL TRICK raced wide off the pace, made a brief bid on the turn then faltered. GIRVINIZED lacked speed racing very wide and gave way readily. A claim of foul by the second finisher against the winner for late interference was quickly dismissed.
