Chart notes
ALABAMA SLEEPER took command leaving the gate, set a quick pace under mild early pressure, shook free on the turn widening the advantage, drew well clear in mid-stretch and held well while kept to task. DIVINENESS unhurried to be the trailer into the turn well off the leaders and rallied steadily coming home to narrow the gap proving to be second best. VIOLIN FINGERS reserved off the pace to be near the rear of the field and rallied mildly to be along for the show. TOQUE prompted the pace down the backside, chased the pacesetter through the turn while uanble to gain on that one, bore out in upper stretch appearing to have something go awry and weakened in the final furlong. WYNNIN WAYDE failed to menace going one-paced. KING OF THE ISLES (IRE) tracked the leaders down the backstretch and retreated on the turn.
