Chart notes
KING REIGERT unhurried early to be the trailer for the first half mile, saved ground on the final turn, cut the corner turning for home, rallied along the fence, angled out midway down the lane and surged in the final sixteenth to be up in time. THIRTEEN G'S set the pace on a well rationed, well measured lead, repelled the bid of the presser midway on the far turn to kick clear in upper stretch and was caught in deep stretch having to settle for second best. MR. FUNTASTICO reserved off the pace racing at the rear with the winner, rallied on the far turn circling five wide and finished with good interest to be best of the rest while no match for the top pair. DUCK HUNTER stalked the pace to be well placed on the final bend, was put to an early drive on the turn and failed to respond finishing evenly. GUN POLICY pressed the pace to the far turn, rallied to threaten midway on the turn, was repelled by the pacesetter and gave way coming home. YOHEDA MONEY MAKER tracked the leaders for a half and dropped back as a non-threat. LETS GET IT ON chased the leaders for a half and came up empty fading from contention.
