Chart notes
DRILL BLITZ never far back, rallied four wide in upper stretch to make the lead at the furlong marker and edged clear under mild right handed urging. WATCH ME DADDY pressed the pace two then three wide, dug in gamely late and gained second by the narrowest of margins. ANGEL I'M NOT hopped inward bumping BRIEF ENCOUNTER at the star, sprinted clear, set the pace until mid stretch then was outfinished. MANDOLIN BREEZE failed to menace. BRIEF ENCOUNTER was bumped at the start, vied for the lead along the rail while boxed in past the quarter pole, loomed boldly after the rail opened up past the three sixteenths pole then came up empty in the late stages. OH GLORIOUS DAY had no impact.
