Chart notes

DINNER AT EIGHT bumped with an inner foe at the start, prompted the inner pacesetter, bid while being coaxed along from the two path around the turn, battled with the stubborn inner pacesetter to the wire, and inched ahead in the final sixteenth. HIPPY GILMORE bumped with an outer foe at the start, set the pace inside, faced an outer challenger while coming under pressure midway around the turn, lost the lead at the top of the lane, dug in gamely to fight back entering the final furlong, but got edged out in the closing stages. COUSIN JOE chased inside, was ridden around the turn, but finished on one pace from the three path down the lane. PLAYFULASITGETS stalked in the three path, was cued midway around the turn, but flattened in the four path down the stretch.
