Chart notes
PATTON'S TIZZY got away alertly and was rank while battling the rider through the opening turn and onto the backstretch then settled and set the early pace before drifting out in the stretch but dug in and held sway at the wire. HOME INVASION was allowed to settle early and tucked in to save ground for the backstretch run and into the second turn then altered seven wide into the stretch and rallied late for place. BRODERICK rated in the second flight early with a rail trip and waited through the turn before moving to contend into the stretch then altered out at the 1/8 pole and was gaining late. LET'S HAVE A PARTY rated in the second flight early before ranging up and making a four wide bid nearing the 1/2 pole then was all out into the stretch, making a mild rally late. CONFABULATION moved up and stalked the early pace then chased into the stretch before altering to the inside near the 3/16 pole when PATTON's TIZZY drifted out and was asked but gave way late. FREEDOM STANCE chased the pace while four wide early then was urged to challenge nearing the 3/8 pole and made a brief bid but faltered in the stretch. GAMETIME GLADIATOR was void of early speed before angling seven wide into the second turn and was asked but made no rally. WHITING FIELD got off slowly and raced while six wide into the first turn then chased to the 1/2 pole before fading in the second turn. BOURBON STATE was void of early speed and tucked in but was never a factor.
