Chart notes
BAD BOY BUTCH settled mid-pack while racing well off the rail then made a steady advance while four wide into the second turn and opened up before drifting out at the 1/4 pole but drew clear in the stretch. BACKSIDE got away alertly and pressed the early pace while saving ground then was passed on the second turn but fought back late for place. EXCELLION was fractious in the gate and broke through before the start then was reloaded and got away well but was rank into the first turn before setting the pace while pushed along, then was passed by multiple runners on the second turn but came on again for show. IRISH GENT (IRE) stumbled at the start and was void of early speed then was asked while five wide into the second turn and made a bid to move into second but faltered late and was caught by a pair late. LIBERTY BAY reared at the start then raced four wide into the first turn before dropping back and never threatened.
