Chart notes
MONTY'S INN was allowed to settle into stride at the back of the pack, started to swoop around a couple of foes three wide at the seven sixteenths pole, continued to circle horses four wide with a quarter mile from the wire coming to the leader, seized command outside still showing a strong sustained run with a furlong still to go and pulled away smartly for the win at the finish line. UNHEARD was situated four deep on the outside in midfield early on, waited to move between runners in the second flight at the five sixteenths pole, shifted to the rail at the quarter marker, shaved the final corner getting into contention on the rail straightening out for the drive, bid on the fence inside two others with a furlong remaining but did not have enough to kick on with the winner outside in the late going. WHERE'S SAMNBAILEY had the rail part of the quartet who were tracking the lead three runners along the backside, was relegated to last on the fence at the three eighths marker, swung out widest in the seven path reaching for more ground and had a sharp late turn of foot burst through runners three wide in deep stretch for the third place share. REACH FOR THE TOP had runners on each side in the three path sitting in mid-division, dropped back between horses being part of the rear trio heading into the turn, travelled three wide on the bend but could not gain any ground, angled to the six path for the drive to the wire and showed good late energy just getting outkicked by the inside foe late for the show award. WORRY LESS broke a step slow, advanced quickly up the fence taking command midway down the backside, maintained a slim lead on the rail pressed by two rivals through the turn running, shifted to the two path clinging up top at the head of the lane, relinquished the top spot being engulfed on both sides at the eighth pole and faded further with a sixteenth still to run losing a couple of positions late. ENCHANTED FOREST had the two path between foes in midfield, made no headway taking the shortest way around the oval and failed to menace just off the rail in the stretch drive. TEXAS HOLIDAY prompted the issue three deep, remained three wide battling outside early around the turn, could not continue on fighting on the front end with the lead inside duo pulling away at the quarter pole, shifted to the five path emptying out in upper stretch but did manage to come back on passing a tired rival in mid-stretch. CHARGETHATMOUNTAIN vied between horses down the backside, continued to argue up top with rivals on either side throughout the turn, gave way battling up top three wide turning for home and stopped between rivals at the furlong marker.
