Chart notes
BRICKYARD BELLE coaxed from the gate, chased along the inside from near the rear of the field patiently handled until set down angled six wide into upper stretch, tipped out an additional path near the three-sixteenths marker and rallied outside rivals through to the eighth pole, offered up a good finish to challenge the leader inside the final sixteenth and was up in the final strides to score. HARPER'S CORNER established the front just after the break and showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside patiently handled and under pressure through the presence of ALMIGHTY ONE to the outside, took the inside route into upper stretch, had the rider peer outwards and inwards assessing those in behind, got roused just outside the eighth pole and raced clear to inside that station before coming under serious threat to the outside a sixteenth from home, grew very active inside that station and was nailed in the final strides to the wire and forced to settle for the place honors. MORE CHAMPAGNE coaxed from the gate, tracked the pace along the inside from just off the pace patiently handled until roused continuing in the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under a drive and kept on to procure the show honors clear of the rest on the line. SIDE QUEST got bumped at the start by ROYAL COMPANION due to pressure from YOLO TRAIN, who broke inwards, chased just off the inside on hold until let out spinning two to three wide at the top of the stretch, then improved position to the end. YOLO TRAIN broke in at the start bumping ROYAL COMPANION into SIDE QUEST, chased three then two wide patiently handled until set down angled five wide at the head of the lane, then stayed on one paced to the finish. ALMIGHTY ONE coaxed from the start, pressed the pacesetter from the outside three then two wide, got roused spinning just off the inside into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. MEDINAH brushed the off side stall at the start, chased four then three wide under a ride with five-sixteenths to go, went four wide into upper stretch, weakened in the drive. ROYAL COMPANION got bumped at the start by the breaking inwards YOLO TRAIN and in turn bumped SIDE QUEST, chased just off the inside under urging from the five-sixteenths marker, went seven wide into upper stretch and trailed throughout.
