BLAZING BURROUGHS set a pressured early pace along the inside, dug in and proved best under strong handling. OBI KENOBI was allowed to settle early, made a good a good rail bid in the lane and rallied up for the place position. WIN HERBIE WIN stalked the pace, raced from the inside through the far turn and finished willingly to the wire. MISSION CONTROL was allowed to settle early, raced four wide into the upper stretch and had not enough. C V JERSEY BEE pressed the pace two wide from the outside and weakened the final eighth of a mile.
