Chart notes
CHASE was three wide in the opening turn, contested the lead in the backstretch, and won driving. RIVER SEVEN trailed the field, went in pursuit of the leaders in the final turn, rallied three wide and needed more ground. PUTTINGONTHEFOIL settled in a stalking position along the rail, moved up alongside CHASE at the head of the lane, and gave way grudgingly in the late stretch. HOLIDAY'S AGAIN was under a snug hold early, and failed to threaten. THATSWHATIMHEREFOR was quickest to the first turn, was overtaken leaving the backstretch and stopped.
