Chart notes
GEAUX AMY prompted the pace to the far turn, rallied to engage the pacesetter in upper stretch, took command inside the final furlong and prevailed in a determined drive over the fellow closers. JUNEGENAI spun wide into the first turn racing near the leaders, settled to be reserved down the backstretch, rallied five wide at the top of the lane and closed fast in the final furlong to be gaining in deep stretch to just miss. GOAL stalked the pace for three-quarters, rallied four wide turning for home with a steady bid to loom in the final sixteenth and hung to be outkicked late settling for the show. READING TIME set the pace on a well rated, well measured lead to be clear at the quarter pole, responded willingly in upper stretch when challenged and tired in the final eighth. TON A LAUGHS unhurried to race near the rear of the field and rallied mildly coming home without impact. DEL ROSARIO chased the pace through the final turn, failed to respond with a closing bid and faded from contention through the lane. TURKISH FLAME was not a factor. MAMUKA was not a factor.
