Chart notes
WALT'S NOTION was hustled up and set the early pace then opened up on the turn before being roused at the top of the stretch then responded well and drew clear. PRINCE OF PEACE chased the early pace while three wide and loomed to challenge at the 1/4 pole then was all out into the stretch and ran on while second best. HAREWOOD rated in the second flight early with a rail trip then was asked at the 1/4 pole and made a bid along the inside but faltered in the stretch. DATS IMPROBABLE settled early before being urged to contend nearing the 1/2 pole and made a brief bid into the stretch but flattened out late. GRIND IT OUT was void of early speed while racing off the rail but never threatened.
