Chart notes

PENTATHLON was well placed while settling into a comfortable stride, moved out from the two path to the four path on the turn, was roused at the five-sixteenths pole, gained to make a bid into upper stretch, took the lead under a strong hand-ride inside the three-sixteenths pole, shook clear inside the furlong marker and proved much the best under a hand-ride while flagged with a right-handed crop to the finish. TIP TOP THOMAS angled in while going to the front then showed the way, raced inside on the turn, was asked near the quarter-pole then came under a drive while losing the advantage, fought under a drive into the final furlong and proved no match while able to get the place. GEORGIA MAGIC brushed with SANDMAN at the start, prompted the pace on the outside then in the three path on the turn, took the lead while asked near the quarter-pole, lost the advantage to the winner inside the three-sixteenths pole, battled between foes under a drive into the final furlong and also proved no match then missed the place but earned the show. YO DADDY angled out while settling near the rear, went around the turn in the three then two path, was roused near the five-sixteenths pole, moved out under a drive in upper stretch and lacked the needed response. ADERO settled off the pace, was urged along passing the three-quarter pole, saved ground on the turn, moved to the two path around the five-sixteenths pole and was no factor. SANDMAN brushed with GEORGIA MAGIC at the start, tracked the pace on the outside, was asked in the four then five path on the turn and came up empty.
