Chart notes
CHAPLIN stalked three wide, bid four wide on the turn, dueled, gained a short lead in upper stretch, responded and drew clear under urging. CAPTURE THE TIME showed good speed two wide, dueled two wide on the turn, dug in gamely in the stretch run and held on well to save the place spot. CROSS HASTE tracked inside, chased on the turn, came five wide into the lane, rallied and was gaining on the runner up at the finish. HOLY STICK (CHI) raced off the rail, off the pace, chased on the turn, came six wide into the lane and closed belatedly outside. ETENDRE stalked three wide, bid three wide on the turn, dueled and weakened. SCHNITTKER raced off the pace inside, advanced at the quarter pole and failed to threaten. TORCH IS PASSED set the pace on the inside, dueled inside on the turn and gave way.
