Chart notes
VANTA unhurried in the early going in the two path then along the inside, crept closer up the backstretch still next to the rail, exited the far turn in the two path and came under a ride, reeled in BLOCKADE with a sixteenth remaining and drove past to prove best. BLOCKADE broke out a bit then grabbed the early lead and crossed over, set all the pace to the stretch, kicked away under right handed urging in upper stretch, switched to the left hand past the eighth pole, confronted by VANTA in the final sixteenth and could not fend off the winner. BIG BLAST settled off the pace in the two path then angled to the rail on the clubhouse turn, trailed leaving the backstretch, ridden along the fence through the far turn, moved off the inside in the lane and ran on for third. LESS PLEASE broke in and bumped, tracked in hand a bit off the rail then started to pull around the first turn, moved into range approaching the far turn, followed behind the leader along the inside, came out into and upper stretch, then flattened out in the final furlong. RIVER IN PARADISE (GB) hit the gate then got bumped and had her path taken by LESS PLEASE, trailed three then two wide early, gained ground three deep in the middle stages, rounded the far turn in the two path and failed to menace down the stretch. DASH was closest in pursuit near the rail early, drew closer past the half-mile pole, came under a ride in the two path on the far turn, got carried out into and upper stretch by LESS PLEASE and weakened in the final furlong. DEE SNOOK (IRE) allowed to settle along the inside, moved into range outside a rival leaving the backstretch, rounded the far turn two then three wide, tipped out at the top of the stretch and weakened.
