KINDERHOOK made the lead leaving the chute, gave up the advantage near the nine sixteenths pole, pressed the pace two wide into the turn, made the lead before the quarter pole, responded under right handed urging and edged clear late. HIDDEN RANSOM rushed up along the inside to make the lead before a quarter mile, set the pace under pressure from the winner until late on the turn, kept on once head and finished second best. FOURDATESFORHOCO raced three then four wide and went evenly. KNOCK WOOD failed to menace. RECKLESS L J settled two wide, moved closer three wide nearing the top of the stretch then failed to sustain that bid. PROSECUTOR had brief speed.
