Chart notes
WATCH AND WAGER stalked the early pace three wide, drew on even terms for the lead midway on the turn, dueled the balance of the trip and proved best by a narrow margin under left handed urging. LOWELLS LEGACY never far back, closed rapidly through the stretch two then three wide and just missed. CANDYMAN ANDY chased the early pace, gained a narrow lead midway on the turn, battled the balance of the trip and was outfinished in the final strides. BAY JA BLUE offered a mild bid four then five wide into the stretch then was outfinished. EVERYNOWANDTHEN went evenly. CLEATUS bore out bumping hard with KASHMAN at the start and was no factor. KASHMAN was bumped hard from his inside at the start then had no impact. RIVER CAPTAIN was outrun. SPRING RIVER with the second flight three wide was through early. BOLD POPPER sped to the front soon after the start, set the pace along the inside until the middle of the turn then stopped.
