Chart notes
FREESTATE pressed the pace to midway on the far turn, rallied to engage the leader at the quarter pole, battled in upper stretch to take a short lead midway down the lane, edged away from the pacesetter in the final furlong and held the closing runner-up safe in deep stretch. LIMO stalked the leaders to the top of the lane, mounted a steady bid in the lane to be gaining late and just come up short. GIDEON set a slow pace under steady pressure through the final turn, vied with the winner down the lane and was outfinished in the final sixteenth in a game effort. MR. COLOSSAL was unhurried to race at the rear of the field on the far turn, and closed with mild interest having no imapct on the top trio. LEE THE CABBY broke outward at the start, raced mid-field tracking the leaders from the inside and failed to mount a rally going evenly. DESPERATE PROPOSAL shied at the start when inside rival broke into his path leaving the gate to be the trailer and failed to threaten.
