Chart notes
STANLEY'S STARS chased the leader into the turn, inherited the lead two wide before the quarter pole then widened the balance of the trip to win as much the best while in hand late TAP DANCING DAN was shut off at the start, allowed to settle, rallied through the stretch three wide and finished second best. LUCY'S FIRST SONG saved ground through the turn, shifted out two wide around the tiring pacesetter then finished evenly. JACE broke through the gate then bore in sharply at the start, set the pace with a clear lead down the backstretch and into the turn then was used up. SON OF A G Q was shut off at the start and had no impact. CLASSIC DAVID also shut off at the start, checked hard start and was never involved. WATCH DUST FLY shied inward at the start and failed to reach contention start. ULTISSIMO was shut off at the start and trailed throughout. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN BUT TOOK NO ACTION.
