Chart notes
IRON SIGHT was allowed to settle off the pace before the first, made steady advancements three wide while travelling up the backstretch for a close up position going into the far turn, launched a three wide bid in the upper stretch and drew clear. URGENCY was off swiftly to dictate the terms of the race, was clear on the inside through the first turn and came under pressure from HARROW for the run up the backstretch, continued to nurse his narrow lead until giving way to the eventual winner at the three sixteenths, dug in to maintain the place award. HARROW was forwardly placed in the two path for the first turn, moved up to apply pressure to URGENCY for the run up the backstretch, was overtaken along the outside by the eventual winner at the three sixteenths for a show finish. MUTAAWID opted to be the early trailer, angled out into the four path after the first turn to start closing some ground, began being asked midway around the far turn and rallied down the stretch. LIKENESS bobbled slightly at the start, settled into the two path, lacked a closing bid. POLAR BEAR PLUNGE was a bit rowdy in the early stages until rating along the inside before the first turn, continued chasing along the inside, retreated midway through the far turn.
