Chart notes
QUASI WARRIOR controlled the pace, repelled a challenge on the final turn and remained clear driving. CARENTAN broke slowly and raced far behind then rallied wide with good late energy. LOST AND CONFUSED rated early, saved ground throughout with a gradual gain in the stretch. CULTIVATE raced in close pursuit of the winner then weakened in the stretch. IN SPADES dropped back outside then raced wide remainder of the trip. EPIC LUCK stalked the pacesetters three wide and proved empty in the stretch. BIG BOYS ANSWER dropped back after the start and was never involved.
