Chart notes
FLETCHER pressed the early pace then loomed to challenge nearing the 3/8 pole before taking over into the stretch then was all out while holding sway on the wire. MISTER ME got away alertly and set the pace while pressed on the lead then was headed into the stretch and dug in, holding on for place. GORDIAN KNOT moved up and chased the pace between horses then waited in the turn before altering to the six path at the top of the stretch and made a late rally. PAYNTED WARRIOR stumbled at the start then rated in the second flight early before being urged along while four wide through the turn then made a bid in the stretch but was outfinished. BEJUCO wouldn't load into the gate then reared at the start and was void of speed while racing off the rail while never a factor.
