Chart notes
HOLD YOUR APPLAUSE raced wide into the first turn to stalk the pace down the backside, rallied with a steady bid turning for home and wore the leader down in deep stretch to be going away at the wire. LOUISIANIMAL pressed the rapid pace for three-quarters, rallied to take a clear lead in upper stretch and was cuaght late in the lane. VIA DELLA SPIGA tracked the leaders to the top of the lane, lacked a closing kick for the drive and kept-on to be best of the rest. FROSTY THE SOLDIER raced mid-pack throughout and rallied with mild interest in the lane. DRIFTWOOD set a quick pace under pressure and weakened in the final furlong. THIRD DEGREE was not a factor. HOPE JOE'S RIGHT was not a threat.
