MIDNIGHT RIDE showed speed in the two path down the backstretch, edged clear leaving the turn and was under brisk urging in the stretch. RICH'S BEST DEAL , three deep chasing the winner around the turn, continued gamely in the drive. MATSUYAMA hugged the rail, showed speed to the stretch and weakened late. SCOOTER'S WILL , urged soon after the break, bumped with MAGNA CARTA entering the turn, worked between horses and finished gamely. BIG NEWS , five dee on the turn, was no facor. MAGNA CARTA , outside horses down the backstretch, bumped with SCOOTER'S WILL entering the turn, remained wide and gave way.
