Chart notes
SARGENT BILKO prompted two wide, dueled around the turn, led into the lane, met an outer challenge in midstretch then held firm through the final furlong. BRAUMS RUN tracked from the three path, inched closer to the embattled leading pair while under urging turning for home, ranged up to bid while hanging on his left lead in midstretch then was turned away in the late stages and lasted for place. SLICKBACK chased along the inside, ran on in the three path into the final furlong, inched progress to offer an inside bid for place in the closing stages but needed more. VISSINO was allowed to settle early on, laid off of the pace along the inside, moved out to the three to four path while attempting progress turning tor home, chased while shifting to the five path in upper stretch and leveled off. DETENTION led early on as the eventual winner applied firm outer pressure, dueled with that one around the turn, got headed entering the lane and weakened. MR. FETE was off slow, raced at the rear in the three to four path and got outrun.
