WORTHY OPPONENT stalked the early pace, rallied two wide through the turn to make the lead in upper stretch, shook clear late and lasted under right handed urging. GAPPER unhurried early, closed fast four wide under right handed urging and just missed getting up in time. GRAY DAY bobbled at the start, vied for the lead near the inside, shifted three wide and finished evenly. GOTTOMAKEITHAPPEN made the lead soon after the start, set the pace along the inside into the stretch and weakened late. POWERFUL PHIL failed to menace. GONE IN A FLASH stumbled at the start, had speed into the turn then wilted. A VAN ON THE RUN trailed, lost contact with his field on the turn, was, eased to the wire and walked off.
