Chart notes
SILVER ROAD set the pace in the two path while uncontested into the backstretch, felt outer pressure turning for home, repelled that foe before meeting an inner challenge leaving midstretch then held firm through the final furlong. DAZZLING tracked in the two path before tucking to the inside entering the backstretch, took aim inside of the well-traveling leader in upper stretch, inched forward to bid leaving the furlong grounds but was fended off thereafter. EARLY AUTUMN stalked along the inside, shifted outside of the leader and to the three path into the backstretch, applied pressure turning for home but was turned away leaving upper stretch and kept on in pursuit of the top pair to prove best of the rest. SMOKE trailed in the three to two path around the first turn then failed to menace. ESTARDOTOO stalked from the three to four path into the backstretch, chased in the three path around the far turn, tipped back to the four path entering the lane and gave way.
