Chart notes
CAVALLI got rank into the first turn, tracked two wide and between horses, split foes entering the lane, brushed with an inner foe while building momentum in upper stretch, rallied three wide bumping into the final furlong, kept his inner counterpart hemmed in while closing in on the tiring leader late and reeled that one in at the wire. FERROUS set the pace along the inside, built a clear advantage with five furlongs to go, maintained a large margin through midstretch but tired late and got nailed at the wire. SEMINAL stalked along the inside, brushed with an outer foe in upper stretch, bumped with that one again rallying two wide and between horses into the final furlong, progressed on the clear leader while being hemmed in by his outer counterpart through the late stages then steadied when encountering traffic nearing the wire. CAIRO CHARLIE saved ground in midpack, tipped to the three path at the furlong grounds, rallied and held fourth while gaining belatedly. AIR DEVIL broke a step slow, laid off of the pace along the inside, swung to the six path into upper stretch and rallied willingly to be denied fourth. TIGER MAN checked between horses early on, laid off of the pace in the three to two path and between horses then moved up willingly. CARTOGRAPHY raced at the rear in the three to two path, then in the four path around the far turn before fanning to the eight path into upper stretch, and failed to menace. FAMILY CREST took back between horses early on, pursued from midpack two wide, then further off three wide around the far turn, fanned to the seven path entering the lane and failed to factor between horses. INNOCENT NO MORE raced off of the pace in the four to three path, shifted to the five in upper stretch and failed to threaten between horses. JUST INSIGHT pressed three to two wide around the first turn, chased around the far turn then weakened. APRIL FOOLS tracked four to three wide, gave way four wide in upper stretch and weakened between horses. TRAVELING BANKER broke a beat slow, steadied when an outer foe cut across into the first turn, raced at the rear near the inside and got outrun.
