Chart notes
SLICK MERLIN moved up early, vied outside for the lead, dueled on the turn, battled heads apart with ARIA D to midstretch, then kicked clear past the sixteenth pole for the win. EMILY REWARD raced off the pace inside, angled out three wide into the stretch, rallied outside, finished well late and got the nod for second. SALT AND LIGHT was off slowly, raced off the pace, moved up entering the stretch, rallied in the two path, then angled in, finished well on the rail and just missed for the place spot. ARIA D cleared the field soon after the start, then vied inside for the lead, dueled with the winner on the turn, dug in to midstretch and weakened late. GARDEN GAL stalked close up two wide, chased on the turn and weakened. RED HEAD ITALIAN tracked close up on the inside, chased on the turn, lacked a bid and tired.
